We employ a committed team of doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers to offer an excellent standard of care to the infants of Western Australia 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We work in one of the largest transport areas in the world, with some of the smallest transport patients in the world. Our journeys travel by air and by road, across deserts and over long coastal plains.

When not undertaking transport, our medical team (comprising 3 Neonatal Fellows/ Senior Registrars) have the opportunity to undertake clinical audit, research, professional development and multidisciplinary clinical education, as well as work in the neonatal departments in Perth. These are based at King Edward Hospital, the largest perinatal centre in the Southern Hemisphere, and the newly built Perth Children’s Hospital, which houses Western Australia’s sole tertiary surgical NICU.

We offer a competitive salary, with generous after-hours remuneration and professional development allowance.

Employment terms for Fellows start in February of each year and applications are considered in May/June of the preceding year, although we welcome expressions of interest at any time of the year. For more information or to apply for a position, contact the NETS Medical Director, Dr Jonathan Davis (jonathan.davis@health.wa.gov.au)
