The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (formerly Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation) is the only dedicated fundraising body for PCH. Recently, the PCH foundation raised funds for the purchase of a brand new state-of-the-art NETS ambulance. Donations to NETS WA can be made via the PCH foundation. Your donation will help to ensure that babies retrieved by NETS receive the most advanced medical care. When making a donation, please specify NETS as your intended beneficiary.
The 2016 Mix 94.5 Kids appeal with Telethon raised vital funds to purchase a state-of-the art high frequency ventilator, new PowerLifters for our transport cots and a specialised cooling machine to lower the body temperature of babies with brain injuries. This equipment will ensure that babies retrieved by NETS will continue to receive the best possible care while being transported to the neonatal intensive care unit.
In 2009, NETS was the very fortunate recipient of a large grant from Telethon. Funds were used to purchase our purpose-built neonatal ambulance and 2 brand new transport cots.
Maroomba Airlines operates the RFDS jet aircraft, which NETS uses primarily for interstate transport of babies needing complex cardiac surgery. In 2010, Maroomba donated funds which we used to purchase a new transport cot for use on interstate transports.
